Privacy policy: Plain and simple
I believe your data belongs to you. This page explains exactly what I collect, why I collect it, and how I protect it. No legalese, no hidden clauses.
What I collect (and why)
The free check
When you take the assessment, your answers and scores are saved so you can return to your results via your unique link. At this stage, I do not ask for your email address or create an account for you.
The Fix Sequence purchase
If you decide to purchase, I collect your email address. This is strictly to send you your access link, your receipt, and any essential support updates.
Payment details
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. I never see, receive, or store your credit card or banking details.
How I use your information
- Transactional only
Your email is used solely to deliver your purchase and provide support. I do not send marketing emails without your explicit, separate consent. - Personalized results
Your assessment answers are used only to generate your specific scores and recommendations. - Product improvement
I may look at broad, anonymized trends from the assessment data to make the tool better over time. This data is never linked back to you personally.
What I will never do
- I will not sell your data to third parties.
- I will not share your information with advertisers.
- I will not add you to any mailing list without your clear consent.
How long I keep your data
Different information is kept for different periods, based on practical needs and legal obligations:
- Free check (no purchase)
If you take the free check but do not buy the Fix Sequence, your answers and session data are permanently deleted within 30 days. - Active purchases
Your email and personalized results are kept while your access is active, and for up to 18 months afterward for support purposes. After that, your email is permanently removed, and only non-identifying score data remains. - Financial records
Retained for 7 years to comply with Malaysian tax and accounting laws. These records contain transaction amounts, dates, and references (not your card details) and are also held by Stripe. Once your email is anonymized, these records are no longer linked to your name. - Anonymized data
May be kept indefinitely to improve the product, as it can no longer identify you.
Your rights
You have full control over your personal information. You can request to access, correct, or delete the data I hold about you at any time. Simply email me, and I will action your request within 14 days.
Note on legal records: If I am legally required to keep certain records (such as tax documents), I will permanently remove the details that identify you rather than delete the underlying financial record.
In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your information, I will notify you within 72 hours.
Third-party services
I use Stripe for secure payment processing. You can review their privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
